Ursula Holden Gill - Storyteller


Ursula Holden Gill is a Storyteller and Independent Tutor of Singing, Speech and Drama who is based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. She frequently travels internationally and throughout the UK, using music, movement and real-life observation to inform her own original and traditionally inspired work, to direct other artists and to connect people of all ages with their creativity. Responding to commissions and both long- and short-term residences within the community, education, entertainment and health sectors alike, over the last decade Ursula has relished establishing firm links with institutions such as Action for Children, Opera North, Settle Stories, Social Services, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, The National Youth Theatre and The Shakespeare Schools Festival. She is particularly passionate about her work with children and young people, in the therapeutic value of Storytelling and the expressive arts in general.
